Erik Olsson has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of RSC since 2006. Mr. Olsson joined RSC in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer and in 2005 became RSC’s Chief Operating Officer and has led the company in creating and implementing the strategy and processes that transformed RSC and brought it to its industry leading position. During the 13 years prior to 2001, Mr. Olsson held a number of senior financial management positions in various global businesses at Atlas Copco Group in Sweden, Brazil and the United States, including his last assignment as Chief Financial Officer for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation in Milwaukee, WI. from 1998 to 2000.

Under Olsson’s leadership, RSC became a public company in 2007, traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:RRR).

Mr. Olsson has created a unique business model at RSC by combining manufacturing strengths of continuous improvement and capital efficiency with a decentralized service approach of building local relationships and exceeding customers' expectations. He has focused the organization to develop innovative ways to provide value in terms of reliability, availability, safety, timeliness and convenience which all translate to lower costs and greater satisfaction for the customer.
